#Data model
Schema, migrations, and integrity
- Explore how Upsoma supports your learning
Explore six interactive previews of learning with Upsoma, then start with your own goal or experience.
- A clearer learning home
Your learning home brings personalization into the sidebar and keeps activity and path insights in collapsible cards.
- A clearer result after every pre-check
When you finish a pre-check you now see how many questions you got right, what the result means for the chapter, how deep the chapter goes, and the topics it will focus on.
- Read a chapter one page at a time
A chapter now shows one section at a time, ending on a Recap page with the quick check. A slim progress row follows you down the page, every path screen shares one tab row, and the listen bar reads the section you are on.
- Starter and Pro, and one way to upgrade
Flashcards, the personalization score, projects and interview prep, and verified certificates are now part of Pro. Each locked feature shows what it holds and opens one upgrade dialog, and the plan button shows your trial days and what you have used.
- A refreshed homepage
The homepage follows its new design: a lighter hero, a rotating job card, company wordmarks, a two-column reviews layout, three plan cards and a new footer.
- A calmer goal box, on the homepage and in the path composer
The homepage goal box types example goals, has a round send button that turns green once there is a goal, and its suggestions scroll in one row with icons. The path composer uses the same box and the same suggestions.
- Registered learners growth, and sign-ups first
The Registered learners card states its week-over-week growth again, and the sign-ups and retention charts now sit above the visitors chart.
- Platform activity on one page
Platform activity drops its Composer tab: failed generation attempts and admitted retries now sit beside the figure cards, and the submitted goals close the page.
- Upsoma in numbers counts everything since launch
The homepage's Upsoma in numbers now shows all-time totals for learning paths created and personalised learning signals, and appears once both pass 5,000.
- A cleaner admin console
The admin console has a new sidebar and top bar, a Platform activity Overview that shows visitors and how many of them sign up, and Programs alongside Referrals.
- The financial model, inside the admin console
The owner's new Finance area holds Upsoma's 18-month financial model as a spreadsheet: log daily actuals, edit the assumptions and scenarios, and see revenue, costs, cash and month-to-date progress recalculate at once.
- Daily unique users moves to Platform activity
The admin Platform activity Overview now charts how many registered learners used Upsoma each day, counting real learners only.
- A formal certificate you can download
Your certificate of completion now looks like a formal certificate, with a gold frame, a signature and a seal, and you can download it as a PDF or a PNG.
- The Upsoma team can confirm email addresses for you
If you never clicked the link in your confirmation email, the Upsoma team can now confirm your address, so you start receiving Upsoma's emails.
- A new homepage that starts from your goal
The homepage now opens on a goal box that carries what you type straight into the path composer, shows how Upsoma personalises learning step by step, and ends with real numbers from the platform.
- The homepage says who Upsoma is for
The homepage heading now reads "Personalised learning for" and types out who it serves, from career professionals and career switchers to college students, job seekers, lifelong learners and small teams.
- Referral codes start your free Pro straight away
A referral code now starts your free Upsoma Pro the moment you use it, even during the launch offer, and referral signup links open on upsoma.com instead of a broken address.
- A weekly report on how learners use Upsoma
The owner's new Learner behaviour area shows each week where learners spend their time, what helps them learn, the goals they set, what failed for them and which features they use, with a saved report emailed every Monday.
- Free Upsoma Pro through an ambassador's referral code
Learners can redeem a referral code from an Upsoma ambassador, through a signup link or in Billing settings, for one to three months of Upsoma Pro, with a reminder three days before it ends.
- See every learner and email the ones you choose
The admin Emails area lists every learner with their activity, paths and email status, and lets the owner send them product news, a reminder, a welcome or their own email. Every email now carries the Upsoma logo.
- Clearer learner screens and a working folded sidebar
Home names the path in its insight panel, the folded sidebar's account menu opens fully, the personalization link says what it is, and screens drop a repeated card and two internal counts.
- Upsoma on your phone, like an app
Upsoma installs to your home screen, opens full screen, shows a clear page when you are offline, and on phones gets a compact header and a bottom tab bar.
- Every source card opens, and the chapter page is simpler
Source cards now open beside every source chip in a chapter, list every source, and let you report a bad one. The Sources tab and filler loading text are gone, and reviews on the home page show the reviewer's photo.
- Building your learning path fails far less often
Upsoma now finishes far more learning-path conversations: it retries a step that fails for a passing reason, starts building as soon as it knows enough, and keeps the connection to your browser alive while it works.
- PDF resumes fail far less often, with clearer messages
Upsoma now matches the skills it finds to PDF resumes whose text wraps across lines, keeps the rest when one skill does not check out, and says plainly when a problem is on our side.
- Adding your resume or profile never times out
Upsoma now reads an added resume, profile link or pasted profile in the background, so adding one answers in seconds and the steps follow what is really happening.
- See your resume being read, and what was found
Adding a resume from the composer now shows each step while it is processed, then how many skills Upsoma found.
- One practice per chapter
Finishing a chapter's practice now always leads to the next chapter. Low scores ease the chapters ahead instead of adding an extra review with more practice.
- Review and edit learner emails from the admin page
The admin console has an Emails area: edit the wording of every learner email with a live preview and history, see every email waiting to be sent, and send product news campaigns.
- Welcome, learning reminder and product news emails
New learners get a welcome email, every learner gets a reminder to keep learning every two days, and Upsoma can send occasional product news. Both reminders and news can be turned off from any email or in notification settings.
- Finish practice once, at any score, and the next chapter adapts to it
There is no longer an 80% score to reach before moving on: you answer a chapter's practice once, see your score and answers, and continue, while the next chapter adapts to your score and recaps what you missed. Practice shows code properly, and the chapter page is calmer.
- Every part of a chapter now appears or says why, and sources open beside it
A lesson, practice or figure that could not be made now says so with Regenerate instead of waiting forever, practice is ready sooner, sources open in a reader beside the chapter, and unfinished paths have their own Draft tab.
- See weekly sign-ups and retention on a Traction tab
Platform activity gains a Traction tab with new sign-ups per week for the last 12 weeks and the share of those learners still learning in each week after they sign up.
- See Platform activity at a glance on one Overview
Platform activity now opens on a single Overview with weekly active learners, learning signals and every chart in one grid, and the admin sidebar works like the main app's.
- See what Upsoma knows about you
See your personalization score beside your streak and the evidence behind it.
- Explore Platform activity with charts
Every Platform activity tab now has a chart, and the metrics owner can see submitted goals and short-lived live learning-path drafts.
- See current learning activity and signed-in learners
Platform activity now shows current learning signals across every tab, including a live count of signed-in learners, with owner-controlled access.
- Keep learner details private in Platform activity
Platform activity shows privacy-safe aggregates publicly, while learner details and event exports require a verified staff session.
- See accounts scheduled for deletion in admin
The admin Overview now lists accounts awaiting deletion, with their account creation, request, and due dates.
- See how your skills grow from learning
Career Profile now shows private skill evidence levels from pre-checks, quizzes, practice and other learning activity.
- Start learning before completing a career profile
Learners with unfinished onboarding can begin with a learning goal, then add optional career context or skip and continue.
- One admin analytics page, and user counts that agree
The admin console now opens on Platform activity, which carries the learner numbers and a new Retention tab; every user count follows one rule, and every sign-in is counted.
- A smaller, tidier admin console
The admin console keeps only the pages the team uses: Content review and the Realtime, Acquisition, Activation and Explore report tabs are gone, and the remaining pages are tidier.
- Weekly and monthly active rates on the admin overview
The admin analytics overview opens with the share of registered learners active in the last week and month, the learning signals recorded, and the number of registered learners, each compared with the previous period.
- Your profile tells you why it will not save
The About you field now holds you to the same limit the server does, two paragraphs of 250 characters, and says what to change instead of failing with no explanation.
- Clearer screens across the app and site
Simpler certificates with sharing in the Issued to card, a daily nudge in your streak card, plainer billing and usage, and a support link on the public site.
- Build and preview a personalised learning path
A single adaptive conversation now creates a saved Path → Skills → Chapters outline and shows durable progress while it works.
- Learn the path you built
A path built at /new is now a learning path you can start straight away, with each chapter's lessons, pre-check and Ask Upsoma written for that chapter. Paths created before the learning-path agent are retired.
- NEW FEATUREpaths/new, roadmap, catalogue, posting intelligenceAdaptive LearningAccountsContent Gen & persistence+8A learning path built for you
Create a learning path through one guided conversation, with chapters chosen and ordered for your goal, background, and current readiness.
- Find and resume personalised learning paths
Saved outlines and unfinished path conversations now appear in path collections, dashboard cards, and search without claiming lesson progress.
- Clear recovery when path generation is busy
Learning-path generation now explains temporary capacity limits and tells you when to retry without consuming your path allowance.
- Quieter learner screens
The pre-check, Ask Upsoma, the plan card and billing say only what you need, and the diagnostic card matches the rest of the app.
- Your active path and plan, where you look
The profile shows the path you are working on, the sidebar shows your plan, and screens that repeated themselves or led nowhere are gone.
- Buy learning capacity whenever you need it
Extra paths and AI credits are now a single payment you can make at any time, as often as you like, and the capacity stays on your account until you spend it instead of resetting with the month.
- Billing settings stand on their own
The billing settings page no longer carries the legal documents or the feedback form, so it covers your plan and nothing else.
- Card payments confirm without leaving the page
Stripe needs an email on the paying customer before it will confirm a subscription, so Upsoma now supplies the learner's address and a card payment settles in place instead of stopping at Confirm.
- Pay for more capacity where you are stopped
When a month's paths or AI credits run out, or a Starter plan meets a Pro feature, Upsoma now offers the matching purchase in place and repeats the blocked action once the payment is confirmed.
- Consistent job posting identities
Repeated collection of the same job posting now preserves one source identity, preparing reliable evidence for personalised learning paths.
- Clearer plans, insights and profile details
The footer names what is live and what is coming, the promotion banner reads at body size, annual pricing shows its saving, the home page speaks of skill insights, the composer and notifications share the app header, and the profile shows a flag and icon links.
- One source of truth for your plan and balance
The header's plan indicator follows its design, and gated features and balance notes now read the same plan and usage state as the header instead of fetching their own.
- Plan and usage in your workspace
Your current plan and remaining paths and AI credits are now available from the application header.
- Plan allowances and reliable billing
Monthly learning capacity, verified billing, catalogue pricing, and the dated Free Pro campaign share one account record.
- Clearer learning plans and pricing
Upsoma's public website now explains personalized learning more clearly and presents monthly, quarterly, and annual plan options from one shared pricing component.
- Learning that starts with you
Upsoma's public website now explains how each learner's background and goals shape a personal path that adapts as they learn.
- Catalogue storage for posting-backed skill evidence
Store canonical roles, discovery domains and distinct supporting job postings for future learning paths.
- Shared skill identities for future learning paths
A shared skill catalogue can match proposed skills without recording them as learner evidence.
- Onboarding focused on your background and goals
Build your learner profile in three steps: add a CV or pick your skills, set a goal or interests, then review what Upsoma found.
- Clearer assessments, learning updates and completion certificates
Check readiness with clearer scorecards, start a full path when you want to revisit strengths, and share a factual Certificate of Completion.
- Account controls, learning updates and evidence details
Manage signed-in devices, choose supported learning notifications, and inspect what supports a skill or source claim.
- A second pass against the Figma designs
Every frame on the five Figma pages was compared with the app again; the homepage header and footer, onboarding, the career profile and its public page, settings, assessments and the path journeys now match more closely, and every public page is checked at phone and tablet widths.
- Every public page closes on the same card
The homepage and every other public page now end on the same deep-green card, and the homepage's separate open-beta card is gone.
- Figma alignment, scorecards and account controls
Responsive design corrections, job-description scorecards and paths, opt-in public profiles, Stripe billing support and cancellable account deletion.
- The Career Browser and Assessments, on the design system
The skill browser returns to the app navigation as the Career Browser, and the skill-gap check behind Assessments is rebuilt, both on the design system and the Paths layout.
- A softer, calmer Upsoma
Quieter ink and hairlines, rounder corners and gentler shadows across the platform; the homepage reveals its sections as you scroll; the skills catalogue answers as you type.
- The roadmap has its own address
A path's roadmap now lives at /roadmap/{path}, separate from its chapters at /paths/{path}, so Back to roadmap and every roadmap link open a page of their own.
- The path header names where you are
The header trail now reads Paths, the path, then the tab or the layer and chapter you are on, and Back to roadmap opens the roadmap every time.
- Every public page on the design system
Terms, Privacy, Support, About, Pricing, Blog, Changelog, Careers, Enterprise, Compare and the explainer pages now share the homepage's header, footer, type scale, colours and components.
- The app sidebar folds away
The sidebar on Home, Paths, Assessments, the Career Browser and your career profile now collapses to icons and remembers your choice.
- Marketing landing page
The public homepage is rebuilt around the product promise: what is between you and the role you want, how the path adapts, what you finish with, and what it costs.
- Career profile and settings
The profile page becomes a career profile with Profile, Sources and Evidence tabs, and a new Settings area covers your account, notifications, privacy and data, and legal and feedback.
- Pages load with far less JavaScript
Every page shipped whole icon libraries and fetched the same path record up to six times when a journey opened. Both are gone, so Home, Paths, chapters and New open faster.
- One onboarding journey
Onboarding now follows one supported journey, using saved progress to resume incomplete setup without falling back to the retired profile flow.
- New opens where you already are
Starting a new path no longer takes over the window: the composer opens inside the app shell with the sidebar and header in place.
- Talk your path into shape
Build a new path by talking to Upsoma while the draft takes shape beside you, see your roadmap as a full-width map, and ask about a chapter from a chat that knows its context.
- Paths library, roadmap and chapter screens aligned to the design
Active paths group by domain, finished paths show their evidence and certificates, and the roadmap, chapter, practice and sources screens carry the panels from the design.
- Short addresses for every learner surface
Your learner home lives at /home, with /paths, /browse, /skills and /assess-skills as top-level addresses - and permanent redirects from every older address.
- Your path library and completion records
Find active and completed paths, keep completion records private, and choose when to share them.
- Your learning dashboard
Resume learning, inspect readiness, and find your paths and evidence from one dashboard.
- A guided start to your learning path
Onboarding follows the Figma question flow, with saved answers, optional background, and a first learning path.
- A clearer way to log in and recover your account
Login, signup, and account recovery follow Upsoma's auth design, with password guidance and one-time email login links.
- A consistent Upsoma design across the learning experience
Upsoma now uses its shared brand colors, typography, and logo across the site, with clearer status messages and more accessible controls.
- Onboarding now builds an editable learner profile from real evidence
Learners can now combine a curriculum vitae, professional links, and written background into an evidence-grounded profile, review every suggestion, and safely resume or skip the flow.
- Platform surfaces are easier to inspect and recover
Upsoma tightened its public, protected, admin, changelog, and generation wait states so the MVP is easier to evaluate end to end and learners see useful recovery or progress instead of blank or clipped layouts.
- Prove it first: pre-checks that skip, tune, and teach
Every chapter now opens with a short pre-check: score 90% and the chapter completes on the spot, score lower and the chapter retunes its difficulty and teaches straight at the exact misconceptions you missed - your resume says what you've done, the pre-check proves what you know, and both now shape what gets generated.
- The changelog now keeps itself honest
Every meaningful change to a platform capability now requires its own changelog entry before it can merge - enforced in CI, mapped to the component it touched, timestamped to the minute - while styling and copy tweaks stay out of the noise.
