- Score lower and nothing counts against you: the chapter retunes its difficulty from your result and the generated lesson addresses the precise misconceptions you missed, head-on - alongside what your resume and LinkedIn already told us.
- If the diagnostic question bank is still generating, the chapter now shows the same staged wait support as lessons: mapping the skill to the path, drafting placement questions, then checking keys, misconception tags, and band coverage before the pre-check appears.
- "I'm new to this" is always an honest answer: decline the pre-check and study fresh at the planned level, no questions asked twice - every placement decision is made once, recorded, and explained in your path's change history.
