Profile setup collects your background, goals, and interests without generating a learning path. Upload a CV, or answer a short skills screen instead: pick or type the skills you have, and optionally add your role, a few lines about your work, and GitHub. Upsoma reads what you wrote to find more skills, and levels come from evidence, not self-assessment. At least one goal or interest is required, on a single screen.
Background processing continues while you answer questions. Review shows progress from saved processing results, lets you correct your background and skills, and offers recovery when a source needs attention. Unsaved edits remain in place during refreshes. Confirmed goals and interests appear in your profile.
Sign-in determines whether profile setup is needed before rendering the learner home page. Existing completed accounts remain completed.
